there's something I need to say
I'm sorry
Some words can only be said in the quiet. Let the rain hold them for a moment.
Tap the window to listen
from the deepest part of me
I'm sorry
Not the kind of sorry that slips out to end a silence. The kind that sits with you for days and finally has to be written down.

To you,
I've started this letter more times than I can count. Every version felt too small, or too late, or too proud. But I'm writing it now — because silence has never been an apology, and I know that now.
I'm sorry for the words I chose without thinking. For the ones I held back when I should have spoken. For the moments you needed me to listen and I was somewhere else in my own head. You deserved better. You always have.
I'm not sorry because I want something from you. I'm sorry because it's true. Because you were hurt, and some of that hurt came from me — and that's a weight I've been carrying quietly ever since.
I'm not asking you to forget. I'm not even asking you to forgive me today. I just needed you to know that I see it. All of it. And that I would take it back if I could — every sharp word, every careless silence, every time I let my pride speak louder than my heart.
You are worth more than my worst moments. I'm sorry I made you feel otherwise.
From the bottom of my heart, I'm Sorry
words I owed you
quietly, honestly
It's a change. Words end the argument; actions end the wound. I understand that now.
The best thing I can give you isn't an explanation. It's my full attention, without defending myself.
I would rather be wrong with you than right alone. That took me far too long to understand.
You don't owe me quick forgiveness. You're allowed to take your time. I'll be here either way.
The little hurts add up quietly. So the little kindnesses should too. I'm learning to choose them first.
Not because everything is fixed. Because you're worth fixing things for. You always were.
