Privacy Policy

How Wishes handles account information, uploaded media and published website content.

Last updated: October 7, 2026
Privacy matters. Please read this policy before publishing content or sharing a website link. By using Wishes, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

Account details such as your name, email address and authentication information when you create or use an account.

Content you choose to upload or enter, including photos, audio, video, letters, template data and published website content.

Technical and usage information needed to keep the service secure and reliable, such as device/browser information, basic logs and page interactions.

2. How we use information

To create, save, publish and deliver the websites and content you request.

To authenticate accounts, provide customer support, prevent abuse and maintain service security.

To improve templates, product performance and reliability using aggregated or operational information where appropriate.

3. Uploaded photos, audio and video

When you upload media, you are choosing to store that media with the service so it can be displayed in the website you create.

Published media may be accessible to anyone who has the corresponding public website link. Do not upload content that you do not have permission to share publicly.

Copyable media URLs are provided as direct public URLs for reuse inside supported templates. Anyone with such a URL may be able to access the associated media.

4. Public websites and share links

A website you publish is intended to be accessible through its public link. Information placed on a published website should therefore be treated as public.

Anyone you share a public website link or direct media URL with may be able to view the content available through that link.

5. Third-party services

The service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, storage, email delivery, analytics or media processing. Those providers may process information only as needed to provide their services.

External links included in a website or developer profile are controlled by their respective providers and may have separate privacy policies.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep account and content data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service and operate the platform.

When you delete content or request account deletion, associated data may be removed from active systems subject to backups, logs, legal obligations and reasonable security retention periods.

7. Your choices

You can review and update account or website content through the available editing tools.

You can choose what information and media to publish. Avoid placing highly sensitive or confidential information on a public website.

8. Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect accounts and stored content. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The service is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate permission. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact the service owner so it can be reviewed.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the service or its practices change. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.

11. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, use the contact details provided on the website or the service owner’s developer page.
